Your Day of Ubud Wonders: A Heartfelt Journey
An Authentic, Joyful & Unforgettable Bali Day Trip (Optional Lunch & Packages)
Let us welcome you to the heart of Bali with open arms! Our All-Inclusive Ubud Highlights Day Trip is more than just a tour; it’s your personal invitation to a joyfully experiential journey through the island’s cultural soul, all in one unforgettable 8-hour adventure.
We’ve lovingly designed this day to be a feast for your senses, immersing you in Ubud’s vibrant artistic tapestry, its breathtaking natural beauty, and its deeply spiritual traditions. Imagine a day where every detail is cared for, allowing you to simply be present and soak in the magic.
Our guests often tell us this is a “fantastic trip,” praising our warm and knowledgeable local guides who share Ubud’s wonders “like a dear friend,” expertly navigating the day and ensuring every moment is enriching, even adapting with grace to Bali’s charming unpredictability.
Our incredible Balinese guides are the heart of this authentic cultural immersion. They are not just guides, but storytellers, cultural ambassadors, and passionate members of our tour family, consistently celebrated for their genuine kindness, professionalism, and profound understanding of Balinese traditions and Hindu culture.
They are truly dedicated to making your Bali exploration unforgettable, sharing insights with a warm and friendly attitude, offering concise and engaging explanations, and even becoming your personal photographer, capturing those “amazing photos” that will become treasured memories.
From the moment we meet, you’ll feel “safe, comfortable, and well taken care of,” with approachable guides who are “always happy to answer your questions” and are genuinely eager to help you “understand this island and their traditions,” empowering you with a deeper appreciation for all you see.
Your day of beautiful discoveries begins at the renowned Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. Feel the playful energy as you wander through this lush haven, home to over 600 spirited long-tailed macaques – a truly memorable wildlife interaction where you can capture that famous Bali selfie with the gentle assistance of local park staff.
Next, we’ll explore Ubud’s artistic and cultural epicenter: the historic Ubud Palace (Puri Saren), offering a glimpse into the town’s royal legacy, and the bustling Ubud Art Market – a vibrant kaleidoscope of local crafts, textiles, and unique Balinese souvenirs where you can find a piece of Bali to take home.
Our guides embrace flexibility; as many travelers have shared, they’ll happily adjust the schedule to your rhythm, perhaps arranging an earlier return to your villa if the day’s adventures leave you delightfully tired.
Prepare for your spirit to soar at the iconic Tegalalang Rice Terrace (Ceking). Let your eyes drink in the emerald-green expanse of these terraced paddies, a breathtaking testament to Bali’s agricultural artistry and the ancient Subak irrigation system – a UNESCO World Heritage marvel.
Stroll along the pathways, feel the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana in action, and capture picture-perfect landscape photographs. Following this visual feast, for those who choose a package with it, or as an add-on, an opportunity awaits to indulge in a delicious Indonesian lunch.
Imagine dining at a carefully selected local restaurant, perhaps D’Alas, with serene views over a lush jungle or verdant rice fields. Our guests have raved about these culinary moments, from “delicious Nasi Goreng with chicken” to “the best tofu I’ve ever tasted,” often enjoyed in “beautiful” settings, sometimes even complemented by an infinity pool!
Your journey into Bali’s spiritual heart continues with a visit to Tirta Empul Temple at Tampak Siring. Feel the sacred hush of this renowned water temple, famed for its holy springs where Balinese Hindus traditionally engage in spiritual cleansing rituals (please note, our visit focuses on respectful observation and understanding the profound significance of this site).
Finally, let the power and beauty of Tegenungan Waterfall refresh your senses. This stunning natural cascade, nestled in a verdant jungle oasis, is the perfect spot for awe-inspiring nature photography and a moment of serene contemplation.
This all-inclusive Ubud experience is crafted for your effortless enjoyment, covering entrance fees (as per your chosen package) and providing comfortable, air-conditioned transport with our skilled and caring drivers who make you feel “very safe.”
It’s so much more than a tour; it’s a “truly memorable experience,” a joyful and “great way to see Bali beyond the typical tourist spots,” designed for everyone with a curious heart.

We recommend light, comfortable clothing suitable for warm Balinese weather, along with sturdy walking shoes. A sarong is often required for temple entry and may be provided or available for rent on-site.
Lunch is optional for some packages (Small-Group Tours) and can be added on. For the "Premium Private Tour," refreshments and snacks are included, but a full set lunch might still be an optional clarification during booking or depend on the specific offer. The tour involves a moderate amount of physical activity. This includes walking along pathways in the Monkey Forest, exploring the Ubud Art Market, strolling through the Tegalalang Rice Terraces, and navigating some steps at Tegenungan Waterfall and Tirta Empul Temple. Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended for your enjoyment.
While you might have an opportunity to take a dip at Tegenungan Waterfall (subject to safety conditions and time constraints – please exercise caution), this tour package includes a sightseeing visit to Tirta Empul Temple focused on cultural appreciation. Participation in the traditional purification bathing ritual at Tirta Empul is not part of this specific tour itinerary.
Hotel pickup is available for packages specifying "Hotel Transfer." The "Private Tour" and "Premium Private Tour" options include transfers from wider central Bali areas including Ubud, Kuta, Canggu, Seminyak, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Uluwatu, and Sanur. If you're staying in these areas, please be aware that travel time will be longer (potentially adding up to 2 hours to the tour duration). Confirm pickup details when booking.
The Ubud Monkey Forest is a sanctuary for numerous long-tail macaques. While generally accustomed to human presence, they are wild animals. To ensure a positive interaction, please adhere to the park's guidelines: avoid direct eye contact, secure all personal belongings (especially shiny objects, food, and water bottles), and refrain from feeding them unless it's through official channels with park staff. The monkeys are usually not aggressive if these rules are respected. Local staff are always on hand to assist and ensure visitor safety.
For any purchases at the Ubud Art Market, your optional lunch (if not pre-booked or included), or other personal expenditures and gratuities, you will need Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). It's advisable to carry a sufficient amount of local currency for these purposes.
